SELF-ASSESSMENT PROGRAM OF ENVIRONMENTAL PRACTICES OF QUALITY ENVIRONMENTAL CONDUCT SECTOR (EKSA) FOR THE WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENT QUALITY AWARD IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE QUALITY AND SERVICE INNOVATION DAY (HKIP) UPM 2022.

SERDANG, 13 September 2022 – Tun Dr. College. Ismail (KTDI) has held a Self-Assessment Program for Quality Environmental Practices Conducive Ecosystem of the Public Sector (EKSA) involving two (2) Assessing Panel members appointed by UPM's Quality Assurance Center (CQA). The panel of assessors is Mrs. Norsazila Maulat Mohd Sani from the Center for Development and Entrepreneurship and Graduate Marketability and Ms. Maizatul Akmam Mohd Azmi from the Faculty of Science.

The Self-Assessment Program started with a welcome speech by YBhg. Prof. Dr. Aminuddin bin Hassan (Principal of the College) and a brief EKSA Implementation briefing by Mrs. Norshahilda Md Shahril, EKSA Implementation Committee Coordinator at 9.00 am and continued with the EKSA Audit Session at 9.30 am to 5.00 pm to several locations in the college.

The purpose of the Self-Assessment Program is to screen for the final stage for the Workplace Environment Quality Award in conjunction with UPM's Service Quality and Innovation Day (HKIP) 2022. A total of seven (7) PTJs according to the categories that qualify for the final stage will be evaluated again by a trained panel of assessors appointed by CQA at the end of September or beginning of October 2022.

Much appreciation and thanks to the Evaluation Panel, KTDI management, KTDI EKSA Executive Committee and all KTDI citizens for their solid commitment, dedication and unparalleled contribution. Hopefully the practice of cultivating EKSA in KTDI will continue and not focus solely on evaluation and victory.
